BREAKING: Governor David Umahi Swears in New Chief Judge of Ebonyi State



 


Governor David Nweze Umahi on the 29th of March sworn in Justice Ngene Elvis as the new Chief Judge of Ebonyi State.

The event was held at the State Christian Ecuminical Centre, also sworn in as a Commissioner for Capital City Development was the former PDP chairman who recently dacamped to the ruling APC camp, Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi.

Governor David Nweze Umahi, also reaffirmed his unending support for the new Chief Judge and also commending the previous two Chief Judges for working hard to stabilize the third arm of government.

He also advise him to laise with the former chief judges to sail well in discharging his duties.

The new Chief Judge in his speech thanked the National Judiciary Council of Nigeria for finding him worthy to serve and also pledged to do his best to ensure that the judiciary continues to function as the bastion of hope for the common man.

The new appointees also pleadged their support to the governor.
